Refund policy

1. Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases)

In line with the Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Act, you have the right to cancel your online order within 7 days of receiving it, for any reason.

Notify us in writing at info@duckapparel.co.za within the 7-day period.

In order to ensure a seamless return process, please take note of the following:

a) Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition you received them.

b) You are responsible for return courier costs.

Once we receive and inspect your item, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 30 days.

This applies to all items, including sale or promotional items.

2. Returns After 7 Days

After the initial 7-day cooling-off period, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase in the following cases:

The item is defective or damaged, or

The wrong item or size was sent.

For returns based on change of mind after 7 days, we may offer an exchange or store credit at our discretion.

3. Refunds

Refunds are processed within 12 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

If your refund is delayed, please check with your bank and card issuer first. If there’s still an issue, contact us at info@duckapparel.co.za.

4. Sale & Promotional Items

Within the 7-day cooling-off period: Sale and promotional items can be returned for a full refund.

After 7 days: Sale and promotional items may only be returned if they are damaged, defective, or incorrect.

5. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of the return.

If the gift wasn’t marked as such, we will refund the purchaser directly.

6. Shipping for Returns

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we can’t guarantee receipt of untracked items.
