1. Shipping
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Standard shipping usually takes 7-10 business days, depending on your location.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: We charge standard rates for all shipping, but express shipping is available at an additional fee. Orders over R2000 automatically qualify for free express shipping.
Q: Do you provide tracking for shipments?
A: Yes, we’ll send you a tracking link as soon as your order is dispatched so you can follow its journey.
Q: Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
A: If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, contact us immediately at info@duckapparel.co.za, and we’ll do our best to update your shipping address.

Q: How do I return or exchange an item?

Q: How long does it take to process a refund?
A: Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after we receive the returned item.
Q: Are there any additional costs for returns?

Q: What makes Duck Down outerwear unique?
A: Our outerwear is water-resistant, wind-resistant, RDS-approved, handcrafted, and features removable hoods. It’s lightweight and packable into a bag for convenience.
Q: Are your rain jackets 100% waterproof?
A: Yes! Our rain jackets are fully waterproof and windproof. They also feature a slimming, adjustable design with breathable vents and practical pockets.
Q: What are the features of your summer wear?
A: Our summer wear is made from breathable, wrinkle-proof materials with a flattering longline cut. Key features include a cinchable waist and hood, zipped pockets, and silky soft lining.
Q: What materials are used in your products?
A: Our outerwear features waterproof and breathable fabrics. The lining is 100% nylon, and the outer layer is 100% polyester.

6. Sizing & Fit
Q: How do I know which size will be best?
A: We have size guides on all the product pages to help you choose the best size & give you an indication if the items are a slim or relaxed fit. Please note all the measurements provided are of the garments (no body measurements).
7. Vouchers
Q: Can I use my First-Time Buyer Voucher on sale items?
A: Our welcome voucher is valid on full-priced items only and cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or sale items.

FAQ's
When do entries open?
Entries are open from 1 August 2026.
When do entries close?
Entries close at 23:59 SAST on 23 August 2026.
When does voting happen?
Voting will take place between the 25 August – 28 August by a Duck Apparel panel.
When will the winner be announced?
The winner will be announced on 31 August 2026 and contacted directly using the details provided in their application.
Who can enter?
Entires are open to women aged 18 years and older. Entrants must be citizens or permanent residents of South Africa.
How will the winner be selected?
The winning entrant will be chosen by the Duck Apparel judging panel. Entries will be evaluated on creativity, originality, storytelling and commercial potential.
Can I submit more than one entry?
Yes. Multiple submissions are welcome, provided each entry is original and submitted separately.
What file formats do you accept?
Please submit high resolution files like: .AI, .PSD or PDF.
Can I submit artwork that has been shared on social media before?
Yes, provided the work is your original creation and you own the rights to it.
Can I collaborate with someone else on my submission?
No. Entries must be submitted by an individual entrant and represent their own original creative work.
Can I use AI tools?
All submissions must be the entrant's original work. The use of generative AI tools (including, but not limited to, ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, Stable Diffusion or similar AI image-generation platforms) to create, generate or substantially modify artwork is not permitted. Entries found to contain AI-generated content will be disqualified.
By submitting an entry, you confirm that the work is your own original creation and that you own all rights to the content submitted.
